Battery Street Book Company
-has what is considered one of the most comprehensive collections of South Carolina books for sale to the public in our country. Battery Street Book Company was established when Lee Burton and Jeremy Floyd developed the idea to have a bookstore in South Carolina dedicated solely to books and ephemera about South Carolina. The purpose of this store was to create a book collection of not only historic and cultural importance for the people of South Carolina but to become a center for our identity as South Carolinians to be shared with others throughout the country.
